Serve society, help the poor and needy in distress and thus manifest the human quality of compassion. By doing seva(selfless service), service to people, you are doing seva, service to God. Even AdiShankara, who was the supreme exponent of jnana marga, the path of spiritual wisdom, in his later days came to realise that bhakti marga, the path of devotion, is the best path for humankind to realise God.Deserve the grace of God by helping the weak and poor, the diseased and the disabled, the distressed and the downtrodden.
Our volunteer Kalivarapu Prasad had identified a needy family of BandaruBhagyalakshmi at Pathapatnam, Srikakulam Dist., AP. BhagyaLakshmi is working as a tailor. She’s the bread winner of the house. Her husband is unable to work and her mother-in-law Sundaramma (age70+) is a sick woman who needs medical assistance. Bhagyalakshmi is in need of tailoring material and a table with shelf for sewing. LAASA provided Basic Needs to this deserving family.
Sevamust be directed towards the removal of physical distress, the alleviation of mental agony and the fulfilment of spiritual yearning.
