Think Society, Think People

A Sudha, A Polytechnic student
During the earlier days, people used to complete their studies and think about how they could serve society. But today’s students, after the completion of the studies think how much salary they may get by doing job. They are always thinking of money. But Vishweshwaraiah always worked for social welfare. Students should follow his principle and become good citizens. One should respect and honor the society. Only if one possesses these qualities his/her education will be respected. It is good if one is able to complete all the degrees from A-Z. But of what use it is to the society?? If these are not useful to society, they are of absolutely no benefit. We have received so many things from the society, so we must do at least something for the society.
One such student who’s in the path of Vishweshwaraiah is our volunteer K. Yamuna who has identified a peer named A Sudha – polytechnic student from Gujarathipeta, Srikakulam who needs financial assistance towards her books and fees. LAASA salutes K. Yamuna for her selfless support to the society.
Do not stand on a high pedestal and take five cents in your hand and say, “Here, my poor man,” but be grateful that the poor man is there, so that by making a gift to him you are able to help yourself. It is not the receiver that is blessed, but it is the giver. Be thankful that you are allowed to exercise your power of benevolence and mercy in the world, and thus become pure and perfect. As always, LAASA is to Serve All with infinite selfless Love.
