Sevā (selfless service) is prescribed as one among the nine steps towards realization. You must therefore be earnest about it and welcome all chances to serve the old, the sick, the disabled, the diseased and the distressed. The body is not primary. What is important is the Indwelling Spirit. Keeping the goal of Self-realization in view, you must engage yourselves in service till the destination is reached. Selfless, dedicated, pure-hearted service is the means. When the entire life is devoted to this purpose, direct experience of the Divine can take place. Eschew as far as possible attachments and aver¬sions. Every effort must be made to keep the mind and the body unpolluted.
Following this path of seva, our volunteers Loddi Venkata Lakshmi and Loddi Ramanamma has identified needy and deserving people at Srikakulam. 1.Korada Kalavathi is a poor and old needy old woman who was living alone at Kella Street, Srikakulam.
