The human being is deriving innumerable debts from Nature and enjoying the amenities provided by Nature in various ways. But what is the gratitude the human is showing to Nature? We are not learning the great lessons Nature is teaching us. The foremost lesson is doing service with no expectation of return.
With such an intention, our volunteersPotnuru PavanKumar, Lopinti Bhavani and Bonikala VenugopalaRao had identified a poor couple: Gompa Nookayya who met with an electric shock and due to that his left hand got amputated. His wife Gompa Jayamma is a paralysis patient.Chukka Ammadamma, Chinta Lacchamma, Tara Yerramma and Nilapu Appannamma are 4 poor old persons who are alone and suffering with illnessand were served earlier by LAASA. They were unable to earn even bread due to their sickness. LAASA provided food and nutrition under 100 day food programme to these 6 deserving people at Thonagi Village, Gara Mandal, Srikakulam Dist., AP.
When we are enjoined to return good for evil how unbecoming it is to fail even to return good for good. God is the one who provides everything to us. Realizing this truth, we should offer the Divine a gratitude in the form of selfless love and service to our fellow human beings who are in need.
